Foundation

The Company was founded in 1988 by Gilles Houde and the three Leclerc brothers (Gilles, Jean and Michel), under the name Recherche et Développement J.L. From the very start, the founders surrounded themselves with employees whose expertise and ingenuity were quickly recognized.

The Company began by providing mechanical design services to manufacturing companies in the region of Quebec, after which it developed its own equipment, designed for the maintenance and the installation of electric lines.
